Smart Twitter Twenius Program
It seems like only yesterday that setting up a web site was the proper thing to do. Next, blogs became the gold standard and most people clamored to create their blog and began blogging. But that is now history, and today is today. All the talk today is about “Social Media” with Twitter and Facebook dominating the conversation. It’s the latest phase in online interaction, it’s the latest phase in community, and as you might expect, it’s starting to catch the eye of entrepreneurs and business owners too.
Did you know that movie stars, athletes, news reporters and famous names from @BritneySpears to @AnitaCochran to @EwanMcGregor to @SherriShepherd and beyond, are racing to position themselves as part of the Twitter phenomena.
However Twitter is much more amazing than that. Truth be told, Twitter is a local area communication tool too. It’s likely your town government is on Twitter, your local news channel, your local Fire Fighters, your local library, your local college, even the gal that cut your hair recently. If they are not on Twitter today, it’s just a matter of time.
But there’s another force making its mark on Twitter. It’s a tidal shift of a more serious nature where business owners (both large and small) including entrepreneurs and home-based businesses are now tapping the magical potential of Twitter. When you see companies like: @RedCross, @Wachovia or @travelchannel begin lining up on the Twitter bandwagon, it’s definitely time to take notice.
It is likely that this “craze” boils down to the commonly known fact that a significant amount of business actually occurs in social gatherings, at cocktail parties, on the golf course, or at various other social events. Now, through Twitter it’s become possible, if not down right easy, to benefit from the internet version of a non-stop cocktail party of unimaginable proportions.
The facts and news stories are mind-blowing:
How powerful is a reTweet? “Social network users are 3 times more likely to trust the opinions of peers over advertising when making purchase decisions.” ~JupiterResearch
“Unique Visitors to Twitter are dominated by 2,935,000 in the 35-49 age range (41.7%)”
“One in three marketers indicated identifying the best practices, measuring results and knowing where to begin as their top questions when marketing with social media.”
What does all this mean? It means that if you are an entrepreneur or own a business, make your plans soon to get over to Twitter and set up your own Twitter account.
Simple enough?
Well, not exactly. Once you have your account opened, that’s when the mystery begins. It’s a very very basic concept, but like playing chess, unless you have a clear strategy, you’re going to soon be scratching your head.
Thankfully, there’s help. Internet strategist and social media marketing expert, Dan Hollings has spent over 12 months researching and testing Twitter strategies for business. Along the way, Dan wrote 100 of the most popular Twitter tips found anywhere online. Next he created a browser toolbar for Mac or PC that puts about 240 Twitter tools, tips and apps easily within reach. Recently, he released his remarkable Twitter training program called, “Twitter Twenius” (that’s Twitter-talk for genius).
Here is a helpful Twitter tip, to wet your whistle:
It pays to be interesting to your followers, but it pays more to be interested in your followers; so communicate and network to your hearts content – but don’t (I repeat, do not) tweet what you or your parakeet had for breakfast. Twitter is NOT a public cafeteria nor a micro-advertising billboard.
Of course there’s so much more to learn, however if you’re looking for Twitter revenue generating ideas or a way to accelerate the Twitter afterburners within all your promotional campaigns from local to international, I recommend Twitter Twenius.
