When Affirmations Don’t Work

In Enlightenment, Law of Attraction, Spiritual on June 24, 2010 at 5:30 pm

Before your problems can be resolved, there must be a mental and emotional housecleaning. The use of denial, or the “no” power of the mind, is offered you for that purpose.

A businesswoman had had a house for rent for months. Needing the rental income to help put her children through college, she diligently made affirmation upon affirmation for its rental. Nothing happened. Upon learning of the “no” power of the mind, she realized why her affirmations had not worked– they had not cleared her mind of fearful anxiety. Thereafter, when the subject of this unrelated house popped into her mid, she would say to herself, “No, no, no. There is nothing to fear. The perfect tenants now appear and rent this house.” Though months of affirmations had rendered no results, withing three days of her use of denial, the house was rented!

A worried mother wrote, “I cannot understand it. For months I have been using affirmations for my daughter and her family, and things have only gotten worse. She has been mentally ill, her psychiatric treatments seem unavailing. Her husband’s job is threatened. The children have all been sick. Recently, a fire occurred in the house. There had been constant confusion and irritation. Why haven’t affirmations helped the situation?”

When this woman learned of the healing power of denial, she realized why. Affirmations make firm. To say affirmations in the midst of inharmony is to “make firm” or say “yes” to the false beliefs that caused that inharmony– THIS ONLY INVITES MORE CONFUSION INTO THE SITUATION! This lady proved it.

As she immediately began to say, “No, no, no” to the troubled appearances, it was like a healing balm that began clearing out the fear, inharmony, confusion. The daughter regained her emotional balance. The son-in-law was led to a better job. The children’s health improved. The insurance company made a settlement on the fire in the home, that made it possible to redecorate the entire house–a desire of long standing fulfilled. Peace gradually came into this family group, after one interested person began to say “no” to the previous difficulties.

You will enjoy using often the “NO” power of the mind to clear out fear, anxiety and confusion– and to open the way for vast improvement in all phases of life.

For this purpose declare often:

“No, no, no! My good cannot be withheld from me. My good cannot be taken from me. By saying ‘No’ to less than the best in life, all blocks to my good are now cleared away. Vast improvement comes quickly in every phase of my life– thanks to the ‘No’ power of the mind.”
